I have a great offer. I just bought a truck load of beautiful Barong Swords from Cold Steel. Structurally, these swords did not meet Cold Steel’s stringent, quality control standards, so they will not be sold out of the Cold Steel factory. If you know Cold Steel, then you know how rigorous their tests can be. I spoke with their president, Lynn Thompson, and we agreed that he would sell the swords to me as show-pieces. I indicated to him that these Barongs would be sold to the public as decorative show pieces only. Although these swords are beautiful and perfect for hanging on a wall, they are not suitable for combat or practical use in any way. However, they will make exquisite wall pieces for home or martial arts schools, or can be purchased as a collector’s item. The swords will be sold “as is”. This Moro Barong comes with a beautiful wooden sheath as shown in the picture above. Accompanying each sword will be a receipt stating the “purpose” of this sword as stated in the above paragraph.
